Betsey Creekmore knows every inch of the Knoxville Campus — past, present, and future. She is at
the center of it all. During her time at UT and in her own personal quests, she has worked to create and sustain an environment
that fosters education and community.
The University of Tennessee Campus Master Plan is a 25-year vision for campus
development. Its goal is to create a community of learning, where knowledge and insight are generated and disseminated. A
few of the specific goals are:
• Provide an overall impression of quality
• Promote a sense of community

Create a pedestrian-friendly environment
• Promote sound environmental policies
• Promote the interrelationship
of the city and campus
